Baby Bertha

The Estes Baby Bertha requires assembly and can be built and finished in just an hour. You can paint it like the package or create your own Go Wild design! The kit features the distinctive looking laser cut wood fins, a blow molded nose cone and easy to apply self-stick decals. When powered with Estes standard model rocket engines, it can streak to 575 feet and is easily recovered with a colorful 12 inch parachute. What You Need To Build: Scissors, pencil, ruler, fine sandpaper, carpenter’s glue, hobby knife, masking tape, white 1/32 inch pin stripe tape or white paint pen, primer (white), paint (black, white) and clear coat (optional). (Tools, construction and finishing supplies not included.)

What You Need To Launch (sold separately): Estes Porta-Pad II Launch Pad and Electron Beam Launch Controller, Estes Model Rocket Engines (A8-3, B4-4, B6-4, C6-5), and Recovery Wadding. Four 1.5V high quality AA alkaline batteries are also required for launch controller (not included).
